A note from Druhna Trish
On Sunday, October 17, Druhna Marian Hansen of Nest 725, Milwaukee was honored by the Polish Legion of American Veterans, USA Ladies Auxiliary. It was an honor to be there to share in this very special day for one of our extremely active members. There were folks from several organizations to celebrate our Druhna Marian. Druhna is a Gold Legion of Honor Member and has been honored by her Nest as Falcon of the Year. Marian Hansen is a Magician, Singer, Clown, Astrologer, Costume Designer, Director and Choreographer in addition to the Nest 725 President, and Financial Secretary as well as the District II Instructor. One of the things I learned about my friend, Druhna Marian is that she worked for Delco Electronics for 40 years. During that time, she was part of the team that built the "inertial brain" for the Titan, Polaris and Apollo space missions. All three of Druhna's daughters were there along with her grandchildren. Congratulations Druhna Marian! It was very nice to part of this special day.
